Curtis Blaydes has been vocal about UFC not wanting him to win a title and it looks like he has come to terms with that as he is confident he is not going to earn a title shot in his next fight, so Blaydes has turned his attention to former UFC Heavyweight champion and arguably the most successful Heavyweight of all time Stipe Miocic.
Blaydes is Coming off a TKO win over Alistair Overeem at UFC 225 in June, Blaydes was very offended that UFC offered Lesnar a title shot against Cormier, who became a two-division champion when he knocked out Miocic last month. Lesnar confronted Cormier in the cage directly after the 39-year-old’s win at UFC 226.
Although Miocic is still asking for a rematch with Cormier after losing the title by first-round knockout at UFC 226 in July, it remains to be seen if the ex-champ would be willing to take the fight against Blaydes.
