Jon Jones (22-1-1NC MMA, 16-1-1NC UFC) is a former two-time UFC light heavyweight champion and has undoubtedly cleared the entire division defeating current champion Daniel Cormier, Ryan Bader, Rampage Jackson, Rashad Evans, Mauricio Rua, Vitor Belfort, Lyoto Machida, Glover Teixeira, Alexander Gustafsson, etc.
With a resume like that, Jones should be considered as the greatest of all time. However controversies has always kept the UFC superstar to reach that status. From being tested for banned substances like benzoylecgonine, clomiphene, letrozol, turinabol to the infamous hit-and-run case in April 2015.
UFC President Dana White recalls as to how good Jon Jones could have been had he not involved himself in all those controversies.

“The whole Jon Jones thing drives me crazy,” White said on the MMARoasted Podcast. “Honestly, Jon Jones, he’s the greatest of all time, he’s the greatest to ever do it.”
“The thing that’s really frustrating is, imagine if this guy tried. Imagine if he tried just a little bit. Just imagine how incredibly amazing this guy could’ve been. He could’ve been the biggest star ever,” said White.
“God knows what he would’ve accomplished in the light heavyweight division and then in the heavyweight division. Maybe he would’ve had a title defense record at light heavyweight that would’ve never been broken and the endorsements… everything that guy could have been is unbelievable.”
