Artem Lobov’s future in the UFC was hanging in the balance following his involvements in the attack by Conor Mcgregor and company on a bus carrying the fighters who were supposed to fight at UFC 223. Following the attack, the Russian born fighter was removed from the event in his bout against Alex Caceres.
Speculations were made about his release from the promotion, however UFC President Dana White put an halt to all such rumours. Speaking on the latest episode of UFC Unfiltered, Dana White said
Artem is still here. We haven’t made any moves on Artem lately. I’m still waiting to see what happens with Conor to deal with this whole situation.
That being said, it leaves no doubt that Lobov’s future with the UFC is intertwined with that of Conor, who is expected to appear in court in New York city on 15th June.
