The UFC return of Brock Lesnar is bound to happen sooner or later. UFC president Dana White dropped the news a couple of days back while appearing on UFC Tonight and he followed up on the same during UFC’s 25th Anniversary Press Conference in Brooklyn last day.

During the press conference, Dana revealed that Lesnar could fight for the Heavyweight championship when he returns to action.
“That’s a possibility. He’s still under contract with the UFC, but we have not signed him to a fight. He’s still under contract with us, too. He still has fights left on his deal. He’s got to get back into the USADA pool.” White said. (H/T) MMA Junkie.
Lesnar, who is 5-3 in his career, last fought back at UFC 200 against Mark Hunt. Though he secured a unanimous decision win at the pay-per-view, the result was overturned after Lesnar tested positive for a banned substance.
He was then given a one-year suspension from competition and Lesnar later announced that he is retiring from the sport. He has been an active name in the professional wrestling business ever since and is the reigning WWE Universal champion in WWE.
Lesnar is scheduled to feature in WrestleMania 34 which takes place this Sunday night.
As for his return, the former Heavyweight champion still has six months to serve on his suspension and the same will be active once he enters the testing pool.
Daniel Cormier is excited
While people might have different opinions about Lesnar’s return to the cage, Daniel Cormier is understandably excited about the prospect. The UFC Light Heavyweight champion was present at the press conference yesterday and revealed that Lesnar’s return will bring big money.
“I think Conor (McGregor) called it, ‘Red Panty Night. When you go on a card with Brock Lesnar, or fight Brock Lesnar, it’s like ‘Green Panty Night,’ because it’s raining money. When you fight Brock, you’re getting paid.” Cormier said.
Cormier is set to fight Stipe Miocic at UFC 226 for the UFC Heavyweight championship.
