Daniel Cormier made UFC history on Saturday in Las Vegas, when he became only the second fighter ever to win and hold title belts in two divisions simultaneously. However, unfortunately, Cormier will have to face a six-month medical suspension as he has suffered from a broken finger.
After the fight, Cormier called out Brock Lesnar and they both got into an altercation in the octagon and a near brawl like situation took place.
Brock Lesnar is also facing a suspension and will only be eligible to fight from January of 2018, and Cormier will also be eligible to fight only around that time, so unless Cormier had thought of fighting one more time this year, it isn’t going to impact him much as he and Brock will be eligible for the super fight which Dana White has been teasing since last Sunday.
The UFC 226 medical suspensions were released by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, which was charged with regulating the event.
