Daniel Cormier will fight Stipe Miocic for the UFC Heavyweight championship this weekend at UFC 226. With only a couple of days away from the fight, Cormier has started playing mind games with Miocic.

In a recent interview, he recalled how Miocic failed to finish Francis Ngannou despite dominating the fight throughout.
“The guy is good. The guy hits hard. But I feel like we have prepared for everything he can bring to the table. Man, this dude is a good champion — he is. And I love Francis Ngannou. I think he’s a great guy. But if I spent 22 minutes on top of him, I would have gotten four or five submissions and found a way to get some TKO stoppages,” Cormier said. (via MMA Fighting)
Apart from Miocic vs. Cormier, the UFC 226 pay-per-view will also have a Featherweight championship showdown between Max Holloway and Brian Ortega.
