UFC: Desmond Green involved in horror five car crash which leaves two dead

UFC fighter and former Titan FC featherweight champion Desmond Green was involved in a five-vehicle crash early Saturday morning, according to authorities in Davie, Florida. The incident involved 5 cars on Interstate 75 at  6:15 a.m. has left two people dead and few suffered minor injuries.

Green apparently lost control of his Dodge Durango and changed direction suddenly into the path of a tractor-trailer, which caused a chain reaction that included three additional vehicles.

Green suffered minor injuries, but two people — Emelina Morfa, 67, and Emma Suarez Hernandez, 76 who drove Toyota Yaris were killed after being treated at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. Armando Alvarez, 23, was driving an Acura 3.2TL and also suffered minor injuries.

The 28-year-old Desmond ‘Predator’ Green trains in Florida at Hard Knocks 365 and is expected to face Russian-born Mairbek Taisumov at UFC Fight Night 136 in September which takes place in Moscow, Russia is UFC’s first ever event in Russia.
