The story so far and the Fight Card
He is coming off a win against Justin Gaethje which he secured back in December 2017 at UFC 218. The last time he faced Dustin Poirier, the fight ended in a no contest due to an accidental knee to the head of a grounded fighter.
While the fight between Alvarez and Poirier headlines the fight night, it will also see the return of Jose Aldo, Aldo will fight Jeremy Stephens at the event. Former Women’s Strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk will also be on the card when she fights Tecia Torres.
