Leon Edwards defeated Peter Sobotta via TKO
Leon landed the first strike as the round opened and dropped Peter to the mat where on the back he tried to go for an armbar and moving to a kimura. Leon began to land more frequently as he found the range but Peter kept on going for the leg kicks and takedowns. Even from the back Peter was able to stay active. Peter’s leg strikes kept landing but gave opening to be hit with a left. He got a takedown but Leon was back up on the feet and reveresed the position. Peter gave up his back and fell prey to the submission.

Jan Blachowicz defeated Jimi Manuwa via Unanimous Decision
The co-main event turned out to be a fight of the night as both the light heavyweights put on an excellent performance right from the start. Manuwa relied on his kicks and hooks but Blachowicz landed a perfect combination that sent Manuwa on the canvas. Blachowicz continued with his aggressive striking while Manuwa barely survived until the round ended. Blachowicz started to land more accurate punches as Manuwa was bleeding as a result of his blows. Blachowicz was able to take the fight on the mat but couldn’t keep the Brit there for long. Though the crowd was behind Manuwa, Blachowicz was the one who dictated the fight and took home a unanimous decision win.

Alexander Volkov defeated Fabricio Werdum via KO
Werdum’s flying kick was in action again but Drago was smart enough to avoid it as the fight began. Werdum then went for his ground game strategy where he initially tasted some success as he landed punches on Volkov. The Russian changed the momentum of the game as he swept Werdum and gained the top position landing solid shots. The Brazilian’s game plan was clear, he didnt want to eat the crisp punches from Volkov and only take him to the ground. He managed to get some success as he worked from the top and attempted for a kimura. Volkov began to read Werdum’s game and started landing strike at will. He completely closed Werdum’s right eye with his strikes and soon began overwhelming him in the standup. Werdum was visibly fading away and eating more shots.Volkov landed few right hands and with an uppercut dropped Werdum on the ground. A heavy right hand sent him out cold.
