Darren Stewart defeated Eric Spicely via TKO in Round 2
Eric Spicely was all about initial pressure and take down oriented against the dentist. But Stewart had other plans – shove Spicely and create distance to make use of his boxing. Spicely looks for a clinch and pushes Stewart to towards the cage, but gets backed up with a series of punches from Stewart. The first round between the middleweights looked competitive and even. In the second, Stewart begins to connect with his punches. Spicely gets a feel of the fights momentum and begins to trade with Stewart landing his own combinations. A stiff jab from Stewart puts Spicely to the mat and signals the beginning of the end. With this win, Stewart picks up his first UFC win from five appearances so far.

Claudio Henrique da Silva defeated Nordine Taleb via submission in Round 1
Both these welterweights were scheduled to meet back in 2015, but Silva pulled out due to an injury and now they’re squaring off inside the octagon. Taleb looks calm and composed, while Silva has a tensed look as he tries to put pressure and take his opponent to the ground. The game plan is clear. But Taleb circles away and lands a leg kick. Silva finally gets his takedown and within seconds gets his hands wrapped around Taleb’s neck and forces him to tap at 4:31 secs.
WHAT. A. PERFORMANCE.

Makwan Amirkhani defeated Jason Knight via Split Decision
A crazy first round saw Makwan dropping Knight with a lead right hook. But Knight was not going down so easily. A perfectly times uppercut from Knight dropped Makwan and moments later another uppercut saw him grabbing the feet of Knight as he struggled to stay in the fight. Knight unable to capitalize on the knockdowns had to settle with the round going in his favour. But in the next two rounds, Makwan came back strong and scored three takedowns and landed some crisp strikes to glide ahead in the judges scorecard.

Burnell was able to apply his game plan as he easily took Allen to the mat and put on some GnP that left Allen wondering his next move. Just when Allen was pinned against the cage and Burnell changed levels to attempt a takedown, Allen slipped his arms and pulled him to the ground for guillotine choke.

Magny Makes a Quick Work of White, Calls Out Kamaru Usman
Neil Magny made a quick work of Craig White with his striking and octagon experience. White tried to stay in the fight and continued to take the pressure from Magny, but it was too much for the new comer. Magny had him in the clinch position and pinned to the cage, as he landed a beautifully timed right knee and dropped White to the canvas. Magny followed up with strikes as White tried to scramble up but it was too late and the referee had to step in to stop the fight in the first round.

In the fourth round, Till dropped Thompson with a solid overhand left but failed to finish him. A very close contest ended up in Till’s favour despite him landing 4 strikes less than Thompson until the fourth round.
