Sam Alvey defeated Gian Villante via Split Decision

With a slow start to the first round, both the middle weights just circle around and hesitate to engage in any sort of striking. Villante makes the first move with his leg kicks and keeps Sam backing up to the cage. There’s not much action till the last minute of the first round, until a sudden left hand from Sam puts Villante on the canvas fails to finish him due to the clock running out. In the second, the story continues the same as both the fighters just continue to circle and fend off each other. With just 10 secs left they engage again but this time its Villante who scores with his exchange. Looks like they both only want to engage in the final seconds of the final round as Sam blocks few head kicks thrown by Villante. With this win Sam improves to 33-10.

Julio Arce defeated Daniel Teymur via Submission in R3

Both the featherweights took their time to open up by checking their range with low kicks. David stays a bit busier as he puts on the initial pressure with kicks and punches. Within the final seconds Julio springs back action and closes the round with a left strike. Julio continues the pace in the second and third as he comes out with an increased striking rate and attempts to look for a take down. The switching leg kick from David gets caught by Julio who then takes him to the ground. Julio wraps his hand tight around Davids neck and continues to put pressure until he is forced to tap out.

Ben Saunders defeated Jake Ellenberger via KO in R1

The Juggernaut comes out wild as he shoves back Saunders towards the fence. They both get into the clincj before a short fireworks and get busy with their knees. Jake tries to land some upper cuts while Saunders is almost landing all of knees until one of them finds home and lands on the liver to quickly drop Jake to the canvas.

Walt Harris defeated Daniel Spitz via KO in R2

Harris take the center of the cage to begin put on an early pressure on the 6 foot 7 Spitz who uses his long reach to keep off Harris. But Harris continues his onward pressure and lands a solid left hand. Spitz is stunned and moves out of the danger zone. Harris lands a leg kick to the body as the round comes to an end. Harris continues the same game plan in the second round, while Spitz uses his kicks to keep Harris at bay. Sptiz looks less mobile in the second round, while Harris is the one moving forward. Harris lands a heavy left hand that knocks the lights off Spitz who soon understands he’s in trouble. With a neat combination Harris drops Spitz and finishes on the ground.

Gregor Gillespie defeated Vinc Pichel via Submission in R2

A dominant performance for full two rounds by Gillespie who was relentless with his take downs and ground game. Whenever the fight looked like it would lead to a kickboxing match, Gillespie kept Pichel guessing and shot for take downs after take downs. Pichel had nothing to offer in return and it took Gillespie seven take downs to finally get his hands around Pichel and submit him.

Marlon Moraes defeated Jimmie Rivera via KO in R1

The biggest win of Moraes’ career comes via a quick head kick knockout against a guy who was on a 20 fight win streak. Moraes needed a single switch kick to drop Jimmie to the canvas and followed up with some strikes before the referee stepped in to stop the fight.
