The bantamweigt clash between two veteran mom’s turned out to be a one sided domination with Alpha Cat Zingano setting a record of 7 take downs in a women’s bantamweight fight. The previous record of 6 takedowns was set by Ronda Rousey. Right from the first round, Zingano made it clear that her takedowns are going to be the key tonight, but she also mixed it up with her leg kicks which had significant impact on her opponent. Marion kept pressing forward to clinch and take Zingano down, but each of her takedowns were defended. The last time she got her hand raised was in 2014 and with this win, Zingano snapped her three fight losing skid.
