Nasrat Haqparast defeated Marc Diakiese via Unanimous Decision
Nasrat promised violence and oh boy he did bring it for the entire three rounds putting Diakiese in danger zone couple of times. Diakiese was countering the attacks but ate much of the jabs that caused his right eye to be blown up by the end of the first round. But despite an injured right eye, Diakiese kept on fighting and looked for some takedowns as he changed his game plan. Nasrat was quick enough to fend all of the take down attempts. Desperate for his first win Nasrat put on constant pressure that gave little or no room for Diakiese to retaliate. With this win, Nasrat handed Diakiese his third straight loss.

Danny Roberts defeated David Zawada via Split Decision

A very close fight to judge but it was evident that David Zawada did most of the work but the victory slipped from his hands as the judges saw Roberts more worthy for his takedowns. Zawada kept on a forward pressure giving landing big hooks but Roberts looked for opportunities to take him to the ground. Zawada resorted to his own take downs in the second round and gave a hard time to Roberts who was clearly outstruck. A few submission attempts from Roberts gave him the edge as the German kept on fighting till the end. .

Marcin Tybura defeated Stefan Struve via Unanimous Decision
This heavyweight fight was sure to end in a vicious knockout but it turned out to be a back and forth kickboxing match with a few takedowns here and there. Struve’s only highlight in the fight was his front kick which for a moment rocked Tybura, who barely missed a followup right cross. Tybura then resorted to takedowns and counter strikes which resulted in some success as he cut open Struve’s chin. This is the first time Struve has lost three fights in a row and his output inside the octagon appears to be fading with each passing fight. Tybura bounces back after two losses with this big win.

Abu Azaitar defeated Vitor Miranda via Unanimous Decision
A clear dominant performance by Abu right from the start of the first round. Abu was all about the body shots in the first round and he landed some heavy ones that stalled Vitor’s movement. His striking won him two straight rounds and that was enough for him to score the win.

Corey Anderson defeated Glover Teixeira via Unanimous Decision
The biggest win for Corey Anderson gives him the much needed boost in the light weight division. Except for a small hiccup in the first minute of the opening round, Corey Anderson clearly out struck and dominated Glover for three rounds giving no scope for the Brazilian either on the stand up or the ground. Corey landed eight take downs and that’s remarkable against a guy who’s take down defenses are on point.
