After losing at the hands of rising star Sean O’Malley, Bantamweight Andre Soukhamthath proved with his performance tonight that he might be down but not over. He spoiled the debut of Martinez with a high paced and high volume striking game showcasing his standup skillset. The first and third round were where he shined as his landed elbows and knees that put Martinez in tight spots. Martinez tried to steal his thunder in the second and managed to take Andre to the ground. With this win, Andre regains his confidence as he presses forward in this packed weight class.
