Rodolfo Vieira couldn’t have asked for a better UFC debut as the BJJ world champion relied on his world class grappling skills to submit Oskar Piechota in the second round. Known as ‘The Black Belt Hunter, Vieira stepped into the Octagon with a perfect 5-0 record with 4 of the wins coming by submission. Being a multi-time BJJ champion Vieira had no difficulty taking the Piechota to the ground before he could submit him with an arm triangle choke at 4:26 secs of the second round. But the Brazilian had to first fight off the nerves and striking from Piechota before he could set up a double leg take down that led to the submission.
The Blackbelt Hunter adds another to his list.
