UFC will be making its debut in Russia this Saturday in at Olimpiyskiy Stadium, Moscow, which is one of the most important and popular markets for Mixed Martial Arts. UFC Fight Night 136 will be headlined by hard-hitting heavyweight ‘Super Samoan’ Mark Hunt and Alexsey Oleynik.
Hunt has some of the hardest hands in the sport so only needs one opportunity to turn off the lights. A lightweight bout between Desmond Green and Mairbek Taisumov was scheduled for this event. However, the status of the pairing is unknown after Green sustained minor injuries in a serious car accident in Davie, Florida on August 18 which left two people dead.
