Diego Sanchez on UFO sighting: ‘It was watching me’

DIEGO SANCHEZ

UFC Veteran Diego Sanchez has released a statement in which he has said that he and his daughter had seen UFO last night.

In a bizarre incident, UFC fighter Diego has claimed to have spotted a UFO while doing energy work with his daughter. He tweeted about the same in detail. According to Sanchez, he saw the UFO near his home in Albuquerque.

UFC welterweight veteran Diego was back on Twitter last night and for those of you who don’t follow “The Nightmare” on social media, I can promise you’re missing out. Look no further than yesterday’s UFO sighting, which is a regular occurrence in his neck of the woods.

I was doing energy work on my patio as a UFO flew right up on me,” Sanchez wrote on Twitter (via MMA Mania). “I called for my daughter, ‘quick quick’ she watched this thing hover only hundreds of feet away. Albuquerque is a trip, sightings are regular here. But this shit was contact tonight, it was obvious it was watching me.”

“Today a powerful portal of light energy is open,” Sanchez added in another Tweet. “If there ever was a night to connect with the universe tonight is the night. I have been celebrating and connecting all day.”

Diego Sanchez has few fights left in his tank

The veteran contender featured at UFC 253 in September on ‘Fight Island’, dropping a largely one-sided unanimous decision defeat to Jake Matthews, his most recent Octagon appearance.

The entertaining and always game Diego was inducted to the UFC Hall of Fame along with former Strikeforce lightweight best, Clay ‘The Carpenter’ Guida following their sensational clash at The Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale, where Sanchez picked up a close split decision win. A fifteen-year UFC veteran, he has scored some real high-profile victories in his time with the organization, including wins over the likes of Kenny Florian, the above mentioned, Diaz, Karo Parisyan, Joe Riggs, Joe Stevenson, Martin Kampmann, Takanori Gomi, Ross Pearson, and Jim Miller.

The 38-year-old has dropped two of his last three Octagon appearances, with his sole win in between those blemishes coming in a controversial disqualification victory over the charismatic, Michel Pereira at UFC Fight Night Rio Rancho in his home state in February this year.

Diego has said on multiple occasions that he is on his last UFC contract and is surely going to retire after four fights. He is a true legend of the sport and a real martial artist who has been fighting for a very long time.
