Ilir Latifi was scheduled to fight Glover Texiera at the Barclaycard Arena at UFC Fight Night in Hamburg, Germany on July 22, but he has to pull out of that fight as he had sustained an Injury.
However, it looks like Latifi has a return date possible as there are talks of him fighting Corey Anderson at UFC 232 on December 29th. Kimura first reported the potential fight to take place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, though the UFC is yet to make an official announcement.
Although, Latifi had previously called out UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones, but it had failed to materialize.
Ilir Latifi last fought in February and currently ranked #4 and is coming off a guillotine finish of Ovince Saint Preux at UFC Orlando, before that he had beaten Tyson Pedro.
Meanwhile, Anderson has been impressively racking up the resume of his own with him coming off an impressive win against Teixeira and also defeating Patrick Cummins by decision in April.
The fight is slated to take place on the undercard of a super fight between Cris Cyborg and Amanda Nunes.
