UFC 230 is undoubtedly a paradise for middleweight division fans as one of the possible four middleweight matchups features a veteran in #6 ranked Derek Brunson (18-6 MMA, 9-4 UFC) taking on #9 ranked undefeated prospect Israel ‘The Last Stylebender’ Adesanya (14-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC).

Adesanya earned himself a main event spot against veteran Brad Tavares with merely two fights under the UFC banner. Adesanya maintained his perfect record by defeating Tavares via unanimous decision. With extreme confidence, Adesanya believes he is the UFC’s next go to man when it comes to monetary gains.

“Call it what it is, I’m the next cash cow,” Adesanya said. “I always feel like, maybe cause I know who I am and I know what I’m gonna do for the company, so I know my worth. But for what I’ve showed them so far in three fights for the new payroll I’m on, I mean, for three fights, that’s not bad.”

Adesanya believes a victory over Brunson has him straight into title contention.

“I might even go for the belt in my next fight depending on how I smoke Bumson. Anything can happen. Never say never. I just feel like now is that time,” he said.
