Middleweight contenders Jacare Souza and Kelvin Gastelum will do battle at UFC 224, reports Globo.
Jacare, who recently knocked out Dereck Brunson at UFC on FOX 27 in January, makes a relatively quick turnaround to face Gastelum, who is coming off a big win against former Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping in November of 2017.

With the Champion Robert Whittaker likely to face Yoel Romero for the Title next, it makes sense to think that the winner of the fight between Kelvin Gastelum and Jacare Souza may be next in line for a shot at the gold.

After moving up in weight from Welterweight, Kelvin Gastelum has been only suffered a loss to Chris Weidman, who dominated him with his wrestling en route to securing a 3rd round submission victory.
He then bounced back with a vicious knockout of Michael Bisping in November 2017.
Jacare Souza, on the other hand, suffered his only loss in the UFC via controversial decision to Yoel Romero in 2015, before being finished by current Champion Robert Whittaker in 2017.
Who do you guys think will be victorious in this match? Will Gastelum’s boxing come through? Or will Jacare take Kelvin down and drown him in deep waters?
