Jimmie ‘El Terror’ Rivera is looking for a quick turnaround. The UFC are interested in pairing him with former two-time flyweight title challenger John ‘the Magician’ Dodson for a card in September.

Last weekend, Rivera took on former WSOF bantamweight champion Marlon Moraes at Fight Night 131 in Utica. Rivera came in with a massive 21-fight win streak.
Moraes started out explosively dropping Rivera with a lightening fast switch kick in the first round following up with punches to hand Rivera his first loss after almost 10 years. An early knockout might be the reason for Rivera looking for a quick turnaround. (via Twitter):
UFC bantamweight Jimmie Rivera is looking for a quick turnaround after last Friday's 33-second loss to Marlon Moraes (his first L in 21 fights), according to sources. UFC is interested in pairing him with John Dodson in September. Nothing official yet, but it's being discussed.

Dodson on the other hand, after moving up to bantamweight, is having a roller coaster type of run. With 3-2 in the division, he would definitely like to achieve more consistency.
A fighter not happy with the booking however is #8 ranked bantamweight Aljamain Sterling. Sterling is coming of a unanimous decision via victory over previously undefeated Brett Johns handing him his first loss. Sterling thinks he should get a shot at Rivera. (via Twitter):
I guess I’m not good enough. Dodson coming off a split decision over Munhoz. I’m coming off a win over a previously 15-0 stud. 🤷🏾♂️ fuck is that bullshit? https://t.co/maoX9Ge1GK
