The fight of the century between the current UFC lightweight champion Khabib “The Eagle” Nurmagomedov and former two weight champion “The Notorious” Conor McGregor is almost upon us. There are plenty of speculations going on about who will emerge victorious in their battle and the media is often seen asking fellow professional fighters who they think win win the bout. In a recent incident, former UFC strawweight champion Joann Jedrzejczyk was giving interview to the press, she was apparently irked by some questions and comments made by a Russian journalist about McGregor and decided to publicly make an example out of him.
The Polish fighter refused to give a prediction for the fight and when pressed on the matter called-out the reporter for wanting to insult McGregor. She called him in front of the cameras and asked him to insult McGregor himself on camera. She even further labelled the journalist’s questions to be ‘stupid’. Here’s what she had to say:
I think definitely it is the fight of this century. Anything can happen, two different styles. I like both of the fighters and I don’t like predicting the fight. So you are not going to get a prediction from me.
What? Do you want to insult Conor McGregor here? You wanna insult him? Okay. Come, Come, Come here. Insult Conor McGregor in the front of the camera. What do you think about him? Come on. Be honest!
I told you, I support both of them. They both are my colleagues. So no prediction for this fight. You are a Russian and you want to insult Conor McGregor here, you should not do that.
So that was an example of stupid questions. Thank you very much.
