The rivalry between former light heavyweight champion Jon ‘Bones’ Jones and current double champ Daniel Cormier is the most heated rivalry in the history of the sport. The controversies, emotions and beef involved surpasses all other rivalries of the sport.

Last weekend when Cormier defeated Stipe Miocic to become the UFC heavyweight champion, MMA community was eager to see how Jones would react. Jones’ Twitter handle however looked deserted. Earlier today, he did break his silence, however in an indirect way.

Jones tweeted:

“Just keep in mind that life is a journey and not a race. If it’s in Gods will for me to still be here and healthy, please believe that they’ll be many more fights to come. Let’s not forget I’m still the youngest guy in the top 5 at HW & LHW”

Jones became the youngest champion to ever hold the UFC belt at the tender age of 23. Now at 30, he still has the time to serve the MMA community with more such performances. However Jones is currently facing suspension due to violation of USADA policy which could possibly extend to as long as four years.
