Former UFC Lightheavyweight Champion Jon Jones has been on the shelf ever since he tested positive for Turniabol, an anabolic steroid, in the lead up to his UFC 214 fight against Daniel Cormier. His manager, Malki Kawa, was on Luke Thomas’ show to discuss his clients when he revealed that sufficient evidence regarding the Jon Jones case has been submitted to USADA to acquit him.

Kawa says that he expects resolution to the Jon Jones’ case by end of March
Malki Kawa who was initially on the show to talk about one of his other clients, Yoel Romero, also opened up about how he expects a full resolution to the Jon Jones issue by the end of March.
He said ‘by the end of this month, we’ll get some clarity on what’s going on. He’s got a hearing with the California State Athletic Commission (later this month) so I have to assume that by the end of March, for a fact, we’ll get this thing resolved. If USADA is a respectable organization, which I think they are, and they take all the evidence, interviews that they have compiled, they know for a fact that Jon Jones was not cheating. ”
Kawa also went on to talk about Yoel Romero and his standing in the fight game.
He said that Yoel has defeated 4 former Champions now (Chris Weidman, Luke Rockhold, Lyoto Machida and Jacare) and will go down as one of the greatest Middleweights ever. Kawa also reiterated that despite only fighting Champion Robert Whittaker in July of last year, that Yoel’s next fight will again be for the Middleweight Championship sometime later this year.
