Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, is preparing to make his mixed martial arts (MMA) return once his provisional suspension levied by USADA is over. A fight with Jon Jones could be Brock Lesnar’s first order of business if he returns to the UFC.
Jones (23-1 MMA, 17-1 UFC) called out Lesnar after recapturing the light heavyweight title this past July with a knockout win over Daniel Cormier (20-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC) at UFC 214. In return, Lesnar told the new light-heavy champ, “Be careful what you wish for.”
While even though Jon Jones isn’t fighting he has been very active and Vocal on Twitter, calling out fighters and replying to fight fans. Jon Jones took to Twitter to quote a fan who asked a question on how does he rank himself against Brock Lesnar in terms of strength to which he replied that Brock might have the upper hand in strength, but Jon believes that he himself would have the upper hand in muscle endurance.
I feel like he would have the upper hand in strength but I would have the upper hand in muscle endurance https://t.co/Cs8PcQq3WY

When asked about Brock’s chances of taking him down, he replied:
Oh he would have an extremely high chance if I allowed him to get around my little legs. I try not to let people get in on deep shots let alone finish them. Gus got my ass good, we’ll timed https://t.co/LIbHT7vGn8

That’s what would make the fight so interesting, the unknown 👀 https://t.co/dzxtHh5iuA

Looks like both Jon Jones and Brock Lesnar are interested in making the fight happen and so is Dana white, so Fight fans might be able to witness the fight happen in December later this year.
