UFC on ESPN+ 6 card this weekend featured an important co-main event of heavyweight prospects as #4 ranked Curtis ‘Razor’ Blaydes will take on #10 ranked Justin ‘Big Pretty’ Willis.
Willis was on an unprecedented four-fight winning streak with his last won being the biggest of his career against legend, Mark Hunt. Blaydes on the other hand, was coming of a first round knockout loss against Francis Ngannou which could have had title implications for Blaydes.
Willis had been using some trash talk to promote their fight. Lines were crossed when Willis had an online war with Blaydes’ father as well. Unfortunately Willis was not able to back his trash talking as he suffered a lopsided unanimous decision loss against Blaydes. Willis addressed the defeat on Instagram. (via Instagram):

“This will be my last post until certain things are fixed with myself, and my team. I will remain humble as I am in victory and also in my very LAST defeat of my career. I will make 0 excuses but I must be honest with myself and my fans, I froze up! It will NEVER happen again.”
To add salt on the wound, came arch rival and heavyweight prospect Tai ‘Bam Bam’ Tuivasa. Tuivasa and Willis came close to blows the last time they met when Willis took on Tuivasa’s mentor and Australian prospect Mark Hunt back in December. (via Twitter):
