UFC London Media Scrum: Paige VanZant speaks about her move to Flyweight, Cris Cyborg and getting engaged

UFC Flyweight Paige VanZant was in London to meet with the media in the lead up to the UFC London card headlined by Fabricio Werdum and Alexander Voklov.

She answered a range of questions about her recent move to flyweight, what she thinks of Cris Cyborg, the reaction from fans to her engagement, female fighters that are on the cusp of signing on with the UFC and Ronda Rousey’s move to pro wrestling.

Paige VanZant is coming off two successive losses to Michelle Waterson in December of 2016 and to Jessica-Rose Clark in January of this year.

However, it was against Jessica-Rose Clark that VanZant broke her hand and was forced to undergo surgery.

VanZant is currently recuperating and also signalled her intention to fight for the UFC Flyweight Championship after one or two more fights at the weight class.
