Former UFC middleweight champions No. 2  Luke Rockhold (16-4-0) and No. 3 Chris Weidman (14-3-0) will rematch at UFC 230. Rockhold has been teasing a change in weight class for some time but it looks like he will fight at Middleweight for some time now.

The pair originally fought in 2015, with Weidman losing his middleweight title to Rockhold after a fourth-round TKO.

Weidman, 34, confirmed the matchup on his Twitter account. He snapped a three-fight losing skid with a submission win over Kelvin Gastelum at UFC on FOX 25.

Rockhold lost the title to Michael Bisping in his very next fight. The loss was arguably the most jaw-dropping title upset in UFC history. He returned with a victory over David Branch almost 15 months later. Rockhold then lost an interim title bid to Yoel Romero via brutal knockout this February.

Nate Diaz vs. Dustin Poirier will serve as the co-main event, but Rockhold vs. Weidman 2 is not the main event.
