UFC veteran Matt Brown is set to undergo ankle surgery. Brown himself revealed the news on Twitter.
The Welterweight star noted that his ankle had been hurt badly for the last three years and thus needed the surgery. He also noted that he would be needing four months of rehab after going under the knife.

Good news is I spoke with dr’s yesterday and figured out why my ankle has been hurting badly for the last 3 years. Bad news is it needs surgery and 4 months of rehab including 8 weeks non weight bearing (crutches)

The 37-year-old Brown currently holds a record of 21-16 to his name and is coming off a win against Diego Sanchez.
