The 26-year-old Holloway is the reigning Featherweight champion of UFC and holds a professional record of 19-3 to his name. His last fight came against Jose Aldo back in December 2017 which he won to retain his title. After this, two consecutive fights of Holloway were cancelled. He was initially supposed to defend the title against Frankie Edgar but the fight fell through as he was injured.
Later, Holloway took up the fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov on a short notice but was forced to sit out due to weight cut issues. Holloway will fight Brian Ortega next at UFC 226.
