Retired UFC Middleweight Michael Bisping isn’t allowing his retirement to keep him away from making the headlines. His post fight beef with Colby Covington is the latest example of this.
Speaking on the “Believe you Me”podcast with Louis J. Gomez, Bisping accused Colby of “coming right out the hot gate” to begin their post fight live television interview. He said that he understands that Colby has made a career out of trash talking and if given the opportunity to go back and do the interview again he would certainly take it down a notch. “The Count” called him “Mr. Controversial”, and said that after seeing him in Colby-esque moment, he couldn’t help but become a sparring partner for him.

However, Bisping couldn’t brush off his criticism, by UFC commentator Jon Anik who initially called the interview disgraceful, as easily as his beef with “Chaos”. He said that he took the comment a bit to his heart and a text from Anik advicing him to seperate his jobs as an analyst and a fighter, would have been much better. However, he went on to say that he respected Anik as a professional, and following Anik’s apology he isn’t someone who makes enemies over silly little tweets.
