Canadian light-heavyweight Misha Cirkunov looks to return to the win column Oct. 27 when he takes on Patrick Cummins at a televised UFC card in Moncton. According to TSN that Cirkunov will face 13th ranked Patrick “Durkin” Cummins at UFC Fight Night in Moncton on Saturday, Oct. 27 at the Moncton Events Centre, which opens later this year.
Cirkunov, a 31-year-old from Toronto by way of Latvia, is coming off losses to No. 2 Volkan (No Time) Oezdemir and No. 8 Glover Teixeira. He won his first four fights in the UFC.
Cummins last fought in April and suffered a loss to Corey Anderson, snapping a two-fight win streak. Patt Cummins UFC 10 times since then earning wins over Gian Villante, Jan Blachowicz, and Antonio Carlos Junior.
Also added to the Moncton Events Centre MMA card are bouts between light-heavyweights Gian Villante (16-10-0) and Ed (Short Fuse) Herman (24-13-0 with one no contest) and lightweights Thibault Gouti (12-4-0) and Nasrat Haqparast (9-2-0).
