UFC: Mike Perry officially tells other girls to lay off; has reunited with the 'Platinum Princess'

Hard hitting welterweight ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry might have lost his last fight but has surely gained something even more important than the ‘W’, as he has reunited with long time ex-girlfriend Danielle Nickerson aka ‘The Platinum Princess’.

An emotional Perry revealed the news speaking with ESPN’s Ariel Helwani on his show last Monday. (via Twitter):

Nickerson played an important role in Perry’s UFC career as he contributed to Perry’s training camps, meal prep and also cornered him for all his fights until his fight against Max Griffin earlier this year in February. Few days after the fight, the couple broke up. Nickerson released a statement on social media and addressed the issue claiming Perry had a ‘wandering eye’.

“Mike [Perry] & I are no longer together. I wanted to explain what is going on because there are so many people who have shown me/us so much love and support and have invested into us, and felt like you guys deserve answers.

We are human and we all make mistakes, Mike unfortunately has a wandering eye and this time it wandered too far and I couldn’t accept anymore.”

Nickerson however did mentioned that she is in good terms with Perry and wishes that Perry would fulfill his dream to become a UFC champion one day.

“I am not mad. I don’t hate him at all. I hope to remain friends and be someone he knows will always tell him how it is and can always receive honest advice from. I have no regrets at all, only wonderful memories of good times.”
