UFC bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo is finally getting his wishes. He is set to defend his bantamweight title against Jose Aldo at UFC 250 in May.
The fight will take place on May 9 in Sao Paulo at the Ginasio do Ibirapuera.
The news was first reported by Brett Okamoto of ESPN.

Henry Cejudo was been calling out Aldo for quite some time now. The pair have also occasionally engaged in trash talks on social media. Aldo is coming off of a unanimous decision loss to Marlon Moraes at UFC 245. Previously he lost to Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 237. He is 4-2 in his last six fights.
On the other hand, Cejudo last fought at UFC 238 in June where he defeated Marlon Moraes via TKO in the third round. Prior to that, he knocked out TJ Dillashaw in just 32-seconds.
Aljamain Sterling disses the match-up between Cejudo and Aldo
Top bantamweight contender Aljamain Sterling has dissed the match-up. He said that no one asked for this match-up.

My time will come! Maybe not today. Maybe not tmw. But if I don’t give up, and I make the sacrifices, one day I believe that I will get there! #FunkGotNext #TrustYourProcess #TripleDuck

Petr Yan lost all respect for Henry Cejudo
Top UFC bantamweight title Petr Yan is also riding on a hot streak inside the Octagon. The Russian is coming off of a dominant stoppage win over Urijah Faber.
Last month, Yan said in an interview that UFC allowing Cejudo to defend his title against Aldo will be bad for the sport.
“I lost all respect for Cejudo. He doesn’t want to defend his belt against a real number one contender,” Petr Yan said to BJPENN.com. “He wants to fight someone with zero wins in 135 division and on a two-fight losing streak, and far from the peak of his career. UFC shouldn’t support this behaviour if they want to keep any significance to that belt. Honestly, it will be bad for the sport.”
“He is a triple clown who is trying to turn our sport into a circus. He knows I’m a terrible matchup for him,” he explained. “That’s why he is trying to avoid fighting me.”
Who do you guys think wins in a fight between Jose Aldo and Henry Cejudo?
