UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones have been talking smack back and forth on social media for quite some time now.
This time around, Adesanya has been the first to fire profanities at Jon Jones. Adesanya took to twitter to call Jones a “p*ssy.” Their trash talks started around October of 2019 when Adesanya was scheduled to fight Robert Whittaker at UFC 243.
Hey pussy you still there… @JonnyBones

Then from there on both fighters have thrown verbal jabs at each other. Adesanya took a shade at Jon Jones’s recent title defense over Dominick Reyes. In this fight, Jones defeated Reyes in a highly controversial decision. Jones then returned the favor last month when Adesanya fought Romero at UFC 248. This was possibly one of the most boring title fights in recent memory.
Jones trolled Adesanya for his performance, where he won a unanimous decision victory.
Adesanya and Jones will fight in 2021?
Prior to his fight against Robert Whittaker at UFC 243, Israel Adesanya said that he was going to fight Jon Jones in 2021 at the Allegiant Stadium. This stadium is currently under construction and will be the home of the Las Vegas Raiders.
“I am saying 2021. Probably early. The way I fight 6 fights in 18 months. I beat this guy in first-second round, get another 5 fights. We will see what happens.”
“I felt bad for him”
Jon Jones recently got into trouble in Alberqueqe as he was arrested for DUI and illegal fire arms possession. Jones was subjected to four-days of house arrest. As per TMZ, Jon Jones will serve one year of supervised probation, a minimum 90 days of outpatient therapy and 48 hours of community service.
Israel Adesanya said last week that he felt sorry for Jon Jones when he saw the body cam footage on Jon Jones.
“I did put some memes up because you have to give the people what they want, but at the end of the day, there’s some stuff that I said privately to my people that’s not gonna go out. Some stuff that meme-worthy wasn’t really kosher, even for my code. He’s a young black man at the top of his game and he’s throwing it all away. A lot of what DC said, same thing. Like, I felt bad for him when I watched the body cam footage as well. At the end, when he was just sobbing, I felt bad for him. Because I can imagine myself in that position. And I even bet you in the back of the squad car, he’s thinking, ‘F*ck, Israel’s gonna have a lot of material with this one.’ I bet you. I swear to God. But, like I said, a lot of it’s never going to see the light of day because it’s funny for me but at the same time I feel sad to see a young, black, skinny [expletive] who wishes he had the career at the beginning like I am right now, and he’s just throwing it all away. So I’ve taken lessons from watching a guy like him pave the way, if you will, and I won’t repeat the same mistakes. I’ll make my own. Sex tape dropping 2020! Get ready.
“Bro, we’re all stuck at home, ‘Ooo, we’re gonna put him on home detention. Oh no’.”
