The UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is all set and ready to make another title defense at UFC 247 today. However, he apparently would be quite eager to fight and whoop the Irishman Conor McGregor’s a** for a massive $100 million payday from Saudi Arabia.

Jones’ MMA record has almost been blemish-free, his only defeat came early in his career against Matt Hamill due to disqualification for using illegal 12-6 elbows. He has multiple notable victories over legendary fighters such as the former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier, Alexander Gustafsson, Vitor Belfort, Chael Sonnen, Mauricio Shogun Rua, among many others.

Jones recently gave an interview to noted media outlet TMZ. He was asked in the interview about who would he pick in a fight, a rematch between the UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and the former UFC champ champ Conor McGregor. He was then told by the reporter that some people in Saudi Arabia was allegedly willing to pay the Russian as much as a $100 million to fight McGregor again. This revelation seemed to shock Jones and he jokingly said that he would fight and beat McGregor for that much money:

Well I typically do not go against wrestlers if you ask me about it as a betting man. Because wrestlers have the power to dictate where the fight goes, whether it is going to be a standing match or whether he is going to take it to the ground and make it a jiu jitsu match. I think the cards are always kind of in Khabib Nurmagomedov’s hands umm but Conor McGregor too definitely has a chance. But if I had to put my money on it, then I would definitely pick Khabib for sure.

Man give me the money. I will whoop his a** for sure.

The first fight between the heated arch rivals, McGregor and Nurmagomedov took place in October of 2018 in the main event of UFC 229. The Russian had an extremely dominating outing in that fight. He kept on taking McGregor down and put on a heavy beating on him eventually submitting him via neck crank in the fourth round. McGregor has since then made a recent comeback to the octagon against Donald Cowboy Cerrone at UFC 246.
