UFC 247 is about to get registered in the books and well UFC 248 does not look too far away either now. The UFC 248 PPV event will take place next month and the fans got to witness the first staredown between the event’s headlining fighters the UFC middleweight champion Israel The Last Stylebender Adesanya and the challenger, i.e. the division’s scary boogeyman Yoel The Soldier of God Romero. Quite interestingly and much to the fans’ luck, they got to witness an epic dance off between the duo.
Adesanya won the UFC interim middleweight title against former welterweight turned middleweight Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 236 back in April of last year. He defeated Gastelum in an absolute war as the two rocked each other multiple times and Adesanya even dropped Gastelum multiple times. However, the American was too tough and just could not be knocked out or finished. Adesanya won the fight via unanimous decision.
Later on, about six months later in October of 2019 Adesanya finally faced off the undisputed champion Robert The Reaper Whittaker at UFC 243. He dominated the fight from start to finish rocking the champion multiple times and even dropping him to the canvas more than once. He eventually brutally knocked the Australian out in the second round via punches.
UFC 248 face offs and staredowns took place today and, in particular, the face off between Adesanya and Romero got everyone’s attention at the event today. After the face off took place and Adesanya suddenly broke off into a dance and much to Adesanya’s own shock, so did Romero. And well it is apparently safe to say that Romero came out victorious in that dance as he did some insane aweinspiring flips, etc.
UFC 248 will take place on 7th March, 2020 at the T Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. With this middleweight title fight serving as the main event, a women’s strawweight title bout between champion Weili Zhang and former champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk will be serving as the co main event.
Other noted fan favourite fighters such as Jared Cannonier, Derek Brunson, Neil Magny, Li Jingliang, Beneil Dariush, Max Griffin, Drakkar Klose, Alex Oliviera, among many others.
