The main event opener bout saw light heavyweight Alonzo Menifield – a 2018 signee from the Contender Series go head-to-head with the much experienced Paul Craig. Alonzo won his DWCS fight via TKO in round 1 and continued that win streak tonight with his third TKO win coming in the first round. His opponent, Craig is known for making last minute come backs, but had a rough start handling Alonzo’s pressure and power. It looked like Alonzo was beginning to get tired and Craig able to read his movement as he landed a beautifully placed spinning heel kick on Alonzo’s head. Craig went for another one; but this time it was an ill attempt. Alonzo stepped to his left and blocked the kick, sending Craig straight down to the mat. Alonzo rained down hammer fists to secure his fourth straight first-round finish. Alonzo stays undefeated with a 9-0 record with eight of those coming by way of KO/TKO.
