The main event clash between #2 ranked heavyweight Francis Ngannou and former champion Junior dos Santos ended in the first round. Ngannou opened the fight with a leg kick which JDS responded back with his own and causing Ngannou to buckle. As both men closed the distance, JDS missedhis shot and turned around and Ngannou landed a solid right hand that dropping JDS to the ground. Ngannou then rained down series of hard shots as JDS curled up protecting his head. The referee had to step in and stop the fight. With this win, Ngannou has now won three-straight fights, all by way of knockout.
