UFC on ESPN 4 Results – Dan Hooker Flatten’s James Vick with a Slick Knockout in Round 1

146 0

#UFCSanAntonio witnessed nine fights go the distance tonight, but it was Dan ‘The Hangman’ Hooker who changed the whole atmosphere with his slick left hook punch that dropped James Vick flat on the canvas in the first round. Quickly getting into action, it was James Vick who landed the first significant strike that caught Dan’s attention. But the New Zealander quickly found his range and as he moved forward used a right feint and landed a looping left hook that landed on the jaw and sent Vick crashing to the canvas. A few follow up punches and the referee had seen enough. Dan gets back to his win column while Vick succumbs to his third straight loss in the light weight division.
