Scott Holtzman defeated Dong Hyun Ma via TKO in Round 2
The ‘Hot Sauce’ collided with the ‘Maestro’ in the opening bout of the main event and as expected, the fight didn’t go to the judges. But instead, the doctor had to step in and stop the fight as Dong Ma’s left eye was completely shut. Scott Holtzman ‘s punches did the damage early in the first round when he landed a perfectly placed straight right and dropped Dong Ma on the mat resulting in a huge swelling under his left eye. But the South Korean was very much in the game even after getting rocked and continued to stand and bang with Holtzman. Dong landed a left hand during a back and forth exchange of punches in the second round and dropped Holtzman to his butt. By the end of the second round, Dong Ma’s eye had swollen and the doctors had no choice but to stop the fight to prevent any further damage. Holtzman has now improved to 4-1 in the UFC and takes his record to 13-3.

Gerald Meerschaert defeated Trevin Giles via Submission in Round 3
With 40th fight under his name, Gerald Meerschaert picked up his 21st career submission win following his third round victory over Trevin Giles. The veteran Meerschaert had to weather the storm in the first round as both the middle weights engaged in a back and forth battle. Giles immediately took Gerald to the mat giving no respect to the ground specialist. Gerald had to dig deep and capitalize on the slight error from Giles to quickly wrap up a choke that resulted in Gerald putting Giles to sleep 1:49 secs of the final round. With this win, Gerald bounces back after two straight losses and improves his UFC record to 5-3

Nasrat Haqparast defeated Joaquim Silva via KO in Round 2
Since his disappointing UFC debut back in 2017, Nasrat had picked up two straight wins via decision, but tonight he took it a notch up by finishing the fight with a brutal beatdown of Joaquim Silva. A devastating overhand left from Nasrat was the key to dropping Silva on the mat with just 36 secs remaining in the second round. Nasrat wasted no time to unleash more ground and pound until the referee had to step in to stop the fight. From the start, it was evident that Nasrat was looking for a knockout win and he began to use more power behind his every punch. Once it landed, it was game over for the Brazilian.

Jim Miller defeated Clay Guida via Submission in Round 1
When Jim Miller was asked about the New Jersey curse, he just brushed it off saying he doesn’t believe in this so called Jinx. He was true to his words and he did it in a true Jim Miller fashion and earned his 20th UFC win under a minutes. Clay Guida landed a quick punch early in the fight which literally woke up Miller and he came back with his own combo and wrapped a guillotine within no time. Clay Guida was caught in a bad position and had no where to go. Referee Herb Dean checked Guida’s hand for any response, but the veteran went limp and Dean had to stop the fight.

Colby Covington defeated Robbie Lawler via Unanimous Decision
Colby Colvington might be the most hated fighter in the welterweight division right now, but with his performance tonight he has walked the walked and proven everyone why he is undeniably the No. 1 contender. Colby kept an aggressive pace right from the start and controlled Lawler with his striking and grappling exchanges. Despite fighting after almost an year, Colby didn’t show any signs of ring rust and instead looked like an active fighter ready to cement his place for the title shot. Lawler was unable to keep up with the pressure as he got taken down round after round. As the fight progressed, so did Colby’s pace as he gave little space for Lawler to react and time his punches. Despite having a cut over his left eye, Colby looked on point with his wrestling striking and cardio to better Lawler for 25 mins. Colby is now on a 7 fight win streak and should be fighting Kamaru Usman later this year for the title.
