UFC has a fairly quick turn around to Singapore as it returns back to Asia on June 23 with a loaded fight card headlined by fan favourite Welterweight Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone and Leon ‘Rocky’ Edwards.
The card just got even more stacked as a Light heavyweight bout between Ovince Saint Preux (22-11 MMA, 10-6 UFC) and Tyson Pedro (7-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) is set for the event.
This would be Pedro’s first visit to Asia whereas fighting in Asia is not a new factor for St. Preux as he has already fought in Japan.
Pedro made his debut back in November 2016 and quickly established his status as a prospect with two first round finishes against talented light heavyweights in Khalil Rountree Jr and Paul Craig respectively. Pedro got his first shot at a ranked opponent in Ilir Latifi at UFC 215 in Edmonton, Canada. Pedro however could not capitalise this oppotunity as he lost the bout via unanimous decision. Pedro coming in this bout against St. Preux has momentum on his side as he managed to get things back on track with another first round submission win against Saparbek Safarov at UFC 221.
St. Preux on the other hand coming into his last fight against Ilir Latifi looked unstoppable with a three fight winning streak, all being finishes. However the master of the rare Von Flue choke lost the bout via submission in the first round. He would definitely like to get things back on winning ways.
Two more fights were announced as Pedro would be accompanied by another fellow Aussie in Jake Mathews.
The latest UFC Fight Night 132 card now includes:

- Jessica-Rose Clark vs. Jessica Eye
- Shinsho Anzai vs. Jake Matthews
- Jenel Lausa vs. Ashkan Mokhtarian
