Team Alpha Male prospect and UFC Flyweight Paige VanZant (7-4 MMA, 4-3 UFC) was recovering from a brutal hand injury which she sustained in her last fight against Jessica-Rose Clark back in January courtesy of a spinning back fist.
However VanZant recently like many UFC fighters has made a YouTube channel of her own. The first video itself revealed that VanZant has been cleared to fight which is a good news for her fans. During her time off, alongwith keeping her body healthy, she seems to have her mind in the right place as well, as the flyweight got engaged to Contender Series prospect Austin ‘AK-47’ Vanderford.
The power couple uploaded another video on YouTube, a question and answer style for their fans and love seems to be in the air. VanZant revealed he even shares a toothbrush with Vanderford. (via YouTube):
Later on in January itself, Vanderford proposed VanZant getting down on one knee, and VanZant couldn’t help but weep tears of joy.
Vanderford would later feature on the Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series where he continued his undefeated streak by cashing in a second round submission victory. However that was not enough to get Vanderford a contract, but if he continues to win his fights, that UFC contract is just a matter of time.
