The Reebok deal of UFC has had its fair share of criticism over the years. While the deal apparently benefited the company a lot, from a fighter’s perspective, it was a complete failure. In fact, the MMA fans also share a similar opinion.
Now, UFC fighter Angela Hill has taken a cheeky shot at UFC. Hill did so by sharing a picture which was tweeted out by director Matthew A. Cherry.
Matthew had shared the picture of a weird notice banning Nike products. Hill retweeted the picture and brought in UFC fight nights into the equation. You can see her tweet below.

The Deal
For the uninitiated, the two parties inked a deal in 2014 which made Reebok the official outfitter of the UFC from 2015. The deal restricted fighter from wearing any other brand inside the octagon. This, in turn, resulted in huge losses for the fighters as a major chunk of their sponsorship money was taken away.
Although the brand does pay fighters for their appearance, the amount is small considered how much the fighters used to earn through sponsorship deals prior to the deal.
A lot of fighters have already voiced their opinions on the issue and the jab from Angela Hill is the latest one on the long list. As for Angela, she is currently 8-5 in her career. Her last fight happened last month at UFC Fight Night 135 where she lost against Cortney Casey-Sanchez. She is 2-3 in the UFC as of now.
Hill had also made headlines a few days back by posting a video regarding the Ariana Grande controversy as well. Whether or not she will be punished for her jab at the UFC is something worth watching out for.
