Bektic won the fight via a split decision handing Lamas his fourth defeat in the UFC and seventh in his overall professional career.
Despite being on a two fight losing streak, the former NCAA Division III wrestler has taken some time off to remember the early days of his fighting carrer.
In a tweet, Lamas was visibly nostalgic about how he had to fight in a cafeteria in his first two fights which also lacked space for warming up.
