UFC Rio Rancho, a.k.a. UFC Fight Night 167 is finally in the books now. It took place at Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. And well it is apparently safe to say that it turned out to be a rather underwhelming and dismal event. The event was particularly marred by two major main card fights ending via disqualifications. However, the main event some what provided fans with some thrill, as Jan Blachowicz trumped Corey Anderson via knockout due to punches.
Anderson now has a professional record of 13-5. He was riding high on a four fight win streak which got snapped away by the Polish fighter today. On the other hand, Blachowicz has a professional record of 26-8 and now has a three fight win streak.
UFC on ESPN+ 25 apart from having Jan and Anderson in the main event, also served fans a welterweight slugfest between Diego Sanchez and Michel Pereira as a co main event. It also featured other noted fighters like Ray Borg, Lando Vannata, Yancy Medeiros, Tim Means, John Dodson, and Jim Miller, etc.
