Robert Whittaker went home with a split decision victory over Yoel Romero last day at UFC 225. The fight, which was entertaining from start to the end, had earned a lot of praise from the fans and many MMA fighters.

After the fight, Whittaker released a statement on Instagram about how he felt and also went on to note that this was the hardest fight of his career.

With the win, Whittaker now goes to 20-4 in his professional MMA career.
He is also on a nine-fight winning streak at the moment and his last defeat came against former Welterweight contender Stephen Thompson back in 2014.
Yoel Romero, meanwhile, slipped to 13-3 in his professional career and two of these three losses came against Whittaker itself.
