UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker who recently fought in a non-title bout against Yoel Romero. For his exploits at UFC 225, Whittaker was awarded with a hefty salary of $ 610,000. He was the second biggest earner on the entire card, only behind veteran heavyweight Alistair Overeem. Although Whittaker bagged a hefty sum for his bout at UFC 225, he also seemed to have generated plenty of money from his sponsors as well. In a recent tweet he thanked all his sponsors for their support and claimed that they help pay the bills.
Whittaker thanked all seven of his sponsors with famous betting company Unibet being one of them. Here’s what he tweeted:
This is a special thank you to all my sponsors who make it possible for me to fight without the financial pressure of worrying about bills.
