The news was first reported by Ariel Helwani of ESPN.

“UFC and Monster Energy signed a new three-year deal today, per Monster’s director of combat Hans Molenkamp. Monster remains the official energy drink of the UFC and is now the official water, too. The deal also extends internationally. Previously it was just for America.
“Molenkamp wouldn’t say how much it was worth but said it was in the “multi multi million dollar” range and will also allow Monster to sponsor even more fighters. They are still a Bellator sponsor, too, and are currently working to extend that deal,” Ariel Helwani tweeted.
UFC and Monster Energy have a special partnership in the sense that their logos are always scattered around the Octagon in every UFC event.
As part of this extension, Monster will continue to have center canvas and entrance logo placement inside UFC’s world-famous Octagon at events. The two brands will also work in conjunction on retail promotions during UFC events in select markets.
