In the co-main event of UFC Singapore, upcoming Light Heavyweight Tyson Pedro stepped into the biggest fight of his career against former challenger Ovince Saint Preux.
Pedro came into the fight on the back of submission victory over Saparbek Safarov while OSP was looking to bounce back from the defeat he suffered against Ilir Latifi.
Pedro landed a beautiful kick just seconds into the first round and pushed for a submission on a dazed OSP. Fortunately for OSP, he managed to survive despite being in a bad situation.
Though he escaped the submission attempt, OSP was pushed up against the cage by Pedro who was then taken down by OSP much to the surprise of everyone. The veteran showed some good moves on top and got an armbar in for the win.
